Mom. Wife. Woman.
Today's Jewish mother fills so many roles.
Our days are filled with tasks from the mundane to the spiritual and everywhere in between. But it can be hard—mind-numbingly hard—to be everything for everyone.
Our goal is to lighten your load, even if it's just the tiniest bit. With tips, suggestions, and recommendations, if we can make your day just a bit easier, we've done what we've set out to do.
It takes a village.
As a young mom, I found that I was not always supported the way I needed when raising my kids. I got comments telling me just to be grateful when what I really needed was a shoulder to cry on and some practical advice.
I would reach out to my friends, and together we'd share our frustrations, challenges, and successes. And I realized that if I could share even a fraction of what I learned, I could help some other struggling moms.

Quick Tips
The Hairspray Hack
Hairspray gets pens ink off clothing and walls! I tried it last night with amazing results. Just spray the affected area and rinse after the ink begins to bleed. Repeat for desired results.
Permanent Marker
If your kids love coloring on the walls and on themselves, I feel you. Here’s a tip that’s saved me countless times. To get permanent marker off skin and walls, use sunscreen. I do not know how it works, only that it works amazingly. Other things to try include baby oil, alcohol and hand sanitizer, though I cannot vouch for their effectiveness.
Pro Tip
If you have little kids, choose a vacuum that can hold an entire box of cereal in the canister. Don’t want to be emptying it mid-vacuum like I was this morning.
Cleaning Tip – Sand in the Car
If your car looks like a beach after summer outings, you’re not alone.Keep a handheld vacuum or even just a small whisk broom in the car. After park trips or beach days, do a quick sweep-out of sand and crumbs before they get ground into the carpet. I also put an old towel down under car seats for crumb-catching, which helped. Car is now (temporarily) crumb-free – until the next snack, anyway.

What I Believe
I believe in working smarter, not harder. I strive to bring beauty into my life without spending unnecessarily. And I am always trying to embrace the imperfections of life.
